Vintage dress from the late 1980s, Marimekko . A collector's item for lovers of the Finnish brand, known for its bold and innovative designs.
A loose and comfortable silhouette with padded shoulders, a low-waisted cut, and a flowing skirt with light pleats and horizontal pink stripes. It also has two pockets. The cotton fabric features an abstract swirl pattern in pastel shades of blue, pink, and yellow. Short, wide sleeves. It can be worn buttoned up to the top or with the lapel worn open. Size S, very oversized fit, fits a couple of sizes larger. Remember to check the measurements!
Shoulders: 50cm approx., no seams (the measurement was taken from the ends of the padded shoulder straps)
Pit to Pit: 54cm
Hip cut where there is a gather: 52cm
Length from the base of the collar down: 108cm
100% Cotton.
Considering its age, the dress is in excellent condition. I would like to point out just two small stains (photos 16 and 15,marked with the withe cirlce). Located on the upper part and, if worn open, they will remain hidden and therefore not visible.
